Welina, and welcome to the official gay pride page for the Hawai`i State Pride Fest.  We are honored and pleased that you have take the time to check us out and see how we are able to offer you an exclusive pass to all things Gay Pride.  The Honolulu Pride Festival Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization established in 2007 under the direction of our founders Mr. Pat Miller, Mr. Jonz Stoneroad and Mrs. Kathy Miller.  The organization was formed directly after the closing of the Aloha Pride Center, Hawaii’s former gay center which annually produced the Gay Pride Parade and Festival events prior to their closing.

We also welcome to our ohana the Triple M council who is the producers of the Mister, Miss and Ms gay pride contest.  Their committee since 1985 along with the honolulu gay community has helped to select a winner to represent our community as a Gay Pride ambassador.  We also are affiliated with Big Island Pride organization, Maui Pride organization,  Interpride the official international pride organization which helps to governs the 160+ Gay Pride organizations around the world, CAPI (Consolidated Association of Pride Inc.) which helps to govern the west-coast pride organization, The IGLTA (International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association), The IGLA (International Gay and Lesbian Association), The HVCB (Hawai`i Visitors and Convention Bureau), and lastly the Tokyo Rainbow Pride organization.

We are excited to share our rich diverse culture, pristine island beauty and  year round fun in the sun as we encourage you to visit our golden shores to relax and enjoy the scenery.  You will find that being Gay in Hawai`i has one unique feature that you can not find any where else in the world, The Aloha Spirit.  You will find at every corner of our island oasis open and warms arms to greet you and your loved ones to enjoy your stay with us in this beautiful paradise we call our home.
